Bursting with fresh produce market stalls, cooking demonstrations and Q&A sessions designed to promote Queensland’s best gourmet regional produce, Regional Flavours highlights sustainable food practices. Visitors will be able to roam 100 market stalls from Queensland’s most sustainable producers, farmers and organisations across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Granite Belt, Lockyer Valley, St George, South Burnett, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg and Cairns, including those who have bounced back from recent natural disasters.

Each producer has been selected for the quality and variety of their produce with delicacies including luxury chocolates, boutique ice‐creams, cheeses, artisan vinegars, fresh syrups and cordials, health foods, handmade organic breads, wine, fruit and vegetables.

The free event will see some of Australia’s most celebrated chefs including Ben O’Donoghue, Dominique
Rizzo, Junior MasterChef 2010 twins Isabella and Sofia and a former MasterChef contestant, bring their
skills and experiences to South Bank with entertaining cooking demonstrations, showcasing Queensland

They will be joined by gardening gurus and television personalities Jody Rigby, Phil Dudman, Robert Pekin
and Gardening Australia’s Jerry Coleby‐Williams in a purpose built Sustainable Garden complete with
chickens, recyclable seating, compost bins and edible plants. This area will also play host to a number of
educational Q&A sessions.
