National Permaculture Day

Permaculture Day

6 May, 2012

Eight properties demonstrating the principles of permaculture will open their doors to the public in celebration of National Permaculture Day. The permaculture movement involves a landscape design science that couples sustainable land-use ideas with greener lifestyle choices. The science has developed across many areas from food production to architecture and this open-home event hopes to inspire people to adopt some ideas of their own. Permaculturist & SCPA President John Champagne (pictured) will have his place open to visitors.

Where: Eight properties in the Sapphire Coast region, NSW.
When: 9am to 5pm, May 6, 2012.
Cost: $5 entry per property.
