Indigenous seed collector - Landcare network
Monday, 29 November 2010Southern Otway Landcare Network is collecting indigenous seeds to expand its seedbank. Applicants should be familiar with the Southern Otway area and ethical issues surrounding seed collection, in addition to having experience with seed collection, extraction and cleaning. You will locate all sources of various seeds, record field data, and package the seed for storage at the Seeding Victoria Seedbank. You will provide your own vehicle, seed collection tools, insurance, workcover and obtain permission from land owners and managers gaining permits or licenses where necessary.
