Green Capital is the longest running business sustainability program in Australia run by an NGO. The Sponsorship Manager is responsible for helping to develop and grow the Green Capital program, both financially and in terms of its impact on business sustainability. It is responsible for maintaining and seeking financial support for Green Capital; managing relationships and relevant policy discussions with business and government; and supervising research projects and staff.

Location: Suite 2, 89 Jones St, Ultimo, Sydney NSW.
Salary: 2 days per week, $55,300 p.a. pro rata.

Green Grants - Landcare corridor

Individual grants of up to $30,000 are now available to support community groups and other organisations undertake projects that will repair and rehabilitate degraded non-urban land and non-tidal waterways in NSW. Landcare Australia and the Raymond Borland Bequest are providing total of $300,000.

Location: Durness-Borland Landcare Corridor project, Port Stephens, NSW.
Grant: An individual project can receive a grant of up to $30,000 (excluding GST).

As the Global Coordinator you would organise activities and promote and organise trips. CERES Global Trips aim to engage Australian people with the issues of developing countries whilst enjoying the richness of their cultures and the wisdoms they can add to our understanding of sustainable wellbeing. Over the past 6 years CERES Global has organised five trips to India, one to Indonesia, and three trips to Mäpuru (an Indigenous homelands community in North - East Arnhem Land). During 2012 CERES Global plans to take travellers to India, Indonesia, and Mäpuru.

The Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD) Program places skilled young Australians (18-30) on short-term assignments in developing countries in Asia, the Pacific and Africa. The Institute for the Development of Educational and Ecological Alternatives, Inc. (IDEAS) is an NGO in the Philippines working in integrated community development including sustainable agriculture, cooperative development, community organisation, enterprise development, waste management and alternative education. You will help advocate the concept of organic agriculture at the Farm School and in the community, as an economical, environmentally-friendly and healthy practice. This will be done through the development of the school’s farm, and some extension work with farmers and families of the students.

Location: Roxas, Oriental Mindoro, the Philippines.
Salary: All related vaccinations and travel are paid for, plus a generous living allowance for the 12 month duration of the position.
