The Fawcett family have been farming the rich volcanic soil of Powlett Hill, Victoria, since 1865.
They have revegetated the creeks, replanted the landscape, given up sprays and chemical fertilisers and moved to biodynamic farming.
They raise sheep and pigs and grow rye, barley, oats and spelt. From the spelt they make flour and pasta.
Powlett Hill Pasta is easy to digest, has a lovely earthy nutty flavour and a rough surface that helps hold pasta sauce.
Available in rigatoni, fettuccini and spaghetti styles.
