Organic Instinct baby shampoo, conditioner and massage oil
Product details
Product name: Organic Instinct
Reviewer: Kirsten Alexander
Manufacturer: Natural Instinct
Price: Natural Baby Shampoo and Conditioner $7.95 each; Baby Massage Oil $9.95
G Rating:
I can hardly get my youngest to tolerate shampoo - let alone a separate conditioner - but you may have better luck.
I used both Organic Instinct products on him (once) and myself (repeatedly), and our hair was soft and shiny afterwards.
The Baby Massage Oil met with no resistance: it is a blend of seven plant-based oils, free from petrochemicals. And didn't soak in too quickly or cause a thick slick on the skin.
All of the products are certified organic, and include no sodium lauryl sulphates (SLSs).
Regardless of whether you're convinced about the purported health risks of SLSs, consider that everything you put on your baby's skin ultimately heads down the drain.
The range is sold at pharmacies and online.

Comments
I will never use natural Instinct products again - i used one of their washes on my son which claimed to be "free from sodium lauryl suplhate" a common skin irritant and he had a huge reaction. A few months after my experience this brand was caught by the ACCC for having misleading labels, they had left off ingredients in the products and low and behold i found out that this brand did actually contain sodium lauryl sulphates. The ACCC also discovered that this brand who claims to be the a natural brand contained insignificant amounts of organic ingredients. Read this article for more information about this misleading brand: http://www.pharmacynews.com.au/article/ACCC-takes-aim-at-Natural-Instinc...
I am outraged that this brand is still advertised as not containing "sodium lauryl sulphates" I love G Magazine but they should do their research before advocating a product. The only reason I am so passionate about this brand being terrible is because after using this brand i had my son screaming in pain who had a painful rash for a week. The worst thing is that a pharmacy assistant actually recommended these products to me as "natural". I am now very careful about what products I use on James and research products before using them. Natural Instincts Never Again!!
