Drawing from the very best new environmental films from all over the world – with over 10 different countries represented in the selection – the festival covers issues as diverse as light pollution, our increasing disconnection from nature, what to do with nuclear waste, and the sometimes-blurry line between environmental activism and eco-terrorism. In addition to the regular program, EFFM 2011 includes a mums-and-bubs session, a free session for school groups, and a tour around regional Victoria to ensure the films reach the largest possible cross-section of the population.
