The inaugural Eco Wedding Fair will be a fun and inspiration day for eco-conscious couples who are looking to create a wedding that is memorable and sustainable. Hosted by Eco Brides Magazine, the very first Australian wedding magazine dedicated to eco-friendly and sustainable weddings, the fair will feature organic, fair-trade, recycled and handmade products. Couples are encouraged to engage with vendors from the industry to discover innovative ways of taking climate action on their big day. Tickets will be on sale on the Eco Brides Magazine website.

Oxfam Australia is bringing together champions of sustainable and fair food in an evening of fine dining and inspiring discussion, featuring seasonal, organic and sustainable canapés and drinks, live music and
delicious conversations … without wasting a grain of rice. This evening will showcase community champions, chefs and celebrity spokespeople who all agree that food waste has no place in a future where everyone has enough to eat, always. Your mind, ears and taste buds will be well and truly satisfied after this fun and informative evening.

The Premier's Sustainability Award is one of the most prestigious environmental awards in Victoria. The deadline for entries in the eleventh year of this award is less than two weeks away. The competition has 8 categories: Innovative Products and Services, Infrastructure and Buildings, Tourism, Education, Environmental Protection, Small and Medium Enterprises, Large Business and Community. If your business is a leader in green innovation and happens to be in Victoria the government recognized competition is a good avenue for exposure and acknowledgement.

Soil health is the one of the most important issues in farming. Australia has some of the oldest and most fragile soils on the planet and thus the topic of soil health cannot be ignored. The National Landcare Facilitator in partnership with Soils for Life presents three webinars on ‘Regenerating Australia’s Soil Health’. The series of webinars have been developed with farmers and others with an interest in land management in mind. They aim to help drive a national conversation around soil health, share information and ideas from leading figures such as former Governor General and Advocate for Soil Health, Michael Jeffery, leading scientists and importantly farmers from across the country who are implementing changes on their farms.

Melbourne International Coffee Expo is coming back this year with bigger and better features for coffee lovers. The expo will bring together industry information, roasting workshops, café tours and many networking opportunities around Melbourne. At the expo, KeepCup is planning to prevent 300,000 disposable cups from going to landfills by sponsoring a clean, efficient and well-signposted wash station. The initiative aims to raise public awareness and understanding of the need to develop sustainable daily habits.
