Living the eco dream - self-sufficient surburban home.

Love this urban homestead idea! I currently try and live sustainably too but I had to move to the country in order to do this! We use 100% solar power to power everything in the home and we have 3 rain water tanks BUT.. I work in town which means I still drive to and from work each day a total of 50km round trip and although we have a veggie patch, we still buy the bulk of our food from the local grocery store...
